| I am looking for a family where I can express my skills and professionalism as I have 5-6 years plus experience as a support worker for autism and learning disabilities, and want to be able to progress and make someones life better on a 1:1 basis, as I has a cousin who is autistic her self. I have lots of done training

| Over 15 years working in care. Domiciliary, care homes and private carer. Complex needs, stroke, Dementia, and end of life care. Last 9 years working for young client with brain injury and cerebral palsy. Moving and handling, epilepsy, suction of natural airway, preparing food, giving medication both oral and via Mic-key button, house keeping, caring for animals. Updating Care plans and Risk assessments. Training of new staff. Rotas.Worked closely with Doctors, nurses, O.T’s, Physio’s etc. Emergency first aid. Supported client during long hospital stays, day trips and holidays. I am very passionate and dedicated to my role. I believe person centred care is key to a great working partnership with the client. I am organised, professional and friendly. I’m my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Going on walking holidays with our dog. Reading, swimming, music and films. Undertaking diy and decorating. Currently taking driving lessons.
