Clinical support worker, nanny & specialist adult / child carer. I live at home with my dog Patch, my wife, and our newborn baby girl.
I love travelling, seeing amazing new things, cooking (I was a chef for many years), climbing, squash & the outdoors. I work for various councils & agencies, offering emergency interventions & child support work. Alongside this, I also offer home care services for those wishing to be independent whilst needing extra emotional & physical support. I have extensive experience with psychiatric cases, complex autism with & without PDA, verbal & non verbal, ADHD & various other disabilities, brain developmental disorders, and cognitive empairments. I have a firm understanding of the neurodivergent world & offer patience and understanding , due to my own ADHD, a relatable way of managing these challenging skill sets. I also have experience in senior care with companionship, diet / lifestyle & general assistance, specifically with early & late stage dementia and other brain disorders.
I have a strong focus on occupational (activites) therapy, diet, lifestyle adjustments to help manage & maintain stable mental health.
