I gained a wide experience of working with children with significant challenges during my time as a Learning Support Teacher at an Infants school, where I worked for 7 years. During my time there I worked on a one to one basis with many children, supporting them and structuring learning strategies to best help them with their particular needs. I have experience in Autism, Asperger's syndrome, Global Delay and working with children displaying a profound lack of nurture. I am a caring and positive person who always strives to do my best for the children in my care.
For the last four years I have been working as a private nanny for a family with three children. I have formed solid bonds with all three children and have encouraged them in a wide range of activities.
Professionally, I have experience working with children from 2 years of age through to 11. I do, however, have two adult children of my own aged 20 and 22 respectively.
