I have worked in a social needs play centre since I was 17, this includes 1-1 all day whilst involved in play with others. We take them to the park and to the local shops. I have worked with kids with cerebral palsy, ADHD, ASD, kids with trachys:
I have also worked in a school for the blind, 1 child I had worked with was dead and blind I found this a little bit challenging as my major on isn’t too great! But I enjoy a challenge. 1 child was completely blind that I worked with she was absolutely amazing I also looked after her at weekends at home, we developed a really good bond.
I recently just finished working in an autistic unit in Battersea, I absolutely adored my job and the kids I worked with. I would do phonics with them and engage with play. Also would help with maths and English lessons. They were aged between 4-7
