Special Needs Care in Cannock Chase

| Hi my names Tom, I've worked in childcare now since 2014, first volunteering as an independent visitor for a national recognised charity working with at risk youth in the care system and then in Jan 2017 I started to work in respite SEN children's home, working with children from low level SEN needs, to full health needs including Gastrostomy's. I progressed to mainstream as a Team Leader, however didn't like the company, so moved back into a small home for a small local care company, where I rose quickly to Team Leader of a 9 bedded children's home for complex health and ASD and then progressed to Deputy Manager for Derby Children's ASD care home for 5 children. I moved back to complex health as a Deputy Manager recently as they had an opening and I'm also a fully registered foster carer, however only take on respite at the moment.

| First aid qualified, Full enhanced DBS, experience with SEN, EBD & SEMH children/young adults. I have worked in all of the above schools for around 4 years now, I've taught multiple classes and age groups, education is important. I have worked with children with physical disabilities and I'm soon to be a qualified sports therapist meaning I can do any required exercises including hydro therapy. I also run my own dance school where I run classes of up to 15 children and have no issues at all, my job there includes health and safety, teaching, first aid, planning and loads more.
