Special Needs Care in Calne

| I have spent the last 10 years as a support & the last two years as a activity co-ordinator, with adults with learning disabilities. I have lived in Wiltshire for nine years, I love the beautiful landscape of the county, I spend any free time outdoors sketching & painting. I have two elderly cats. I look after my daughters gorgeous labs when she's on holiday. I enjoy holidays, spending time with my hubby & grown up children.

| To present I am a support/key worker in an 8-bedroom unit for adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Since the beginning of the year I have been shift leading. I coordinate events and activities such as baking, art and craft, pond dipping nature walks. as well as Halloween, Easter, Christmas etc I also produce a monthly newsletter. Previous to this i worked as a Student Development Officer with BCA College, I organized events and enrichment activities for students including Worm Charming Event- BCA’S Got Talent and residents Christmas Party which included making party cakes etc. the day before. Attendance levels rose from students that I supported as did their grades. I was instrumental in building up a relationship with ITV Fixers on behalf of the college. ITV Fixers are now going to be working with BCA students on film projects. I helped to introduce the SDO academy, which included Sport, Welfare via a Facebook page and meetings and a volunteering academy.
