Autism Care Belfast

I work one to one with a child with autism in a primary school. I have many years experience of working in a special school during their summer scheme. I have completed many courses on autism and working with children with special needs. I have also worked for a Trust doing Direct Payments for families providing respite.

| I have an honours degree in psychology, diploma ocd studies and diploma in CBT. I have worked as a teaching assistant in a special needs school, teaching one to one with child with Autism, worked with all disabilities in Water Therapy and voluntary work with adults with disabilities including Autism. I have been running a support group for sufferers of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder for 10 years and specialise in this area.

Hello. My name is Orla and I'm 25 years old. I live in west Belfast. I have worked with children from newborn to 15 years old. I have experience working with children who have learning and physical difficulties such as ADHD, autism, Down's syndrome and cerebral palsy. I have my level 2 GNVQ in health and social care, a certificate in first aid, basic hygiene and I can provide several references from families I have worked for and also a nursery I worked in. I love working with children as it's a real passion of mine. I enjoy playing games and doing crafts with children. I am okay to cook and clean as I love to take care of my own family and take care of my nieces and nephews. I currently don't drive but I do have a full UK license with no convictions. | Hello! My name is Bia and I have a BA in Occupational Therapy. During my years of training I was able to do a lot of internships mostly in Mental Health and Pediatrics. I also worked profissionally in Pediatrics with children and teenagers of all ages and all kinds of special needs, from motor dystrophy to asperger, you name it! Before taking my BA, I also volunteered for 3 years in a kindergarten where I got to work with a few children with special needs, such as dislexya and autism.
