The whole experience was heart breaking, so I never got another pet, but my love for pets has never changed. From time to time, I look after my neighbours dog. I make sure there is always fresh water available. I give dogs plenty of attention. The dogs would have a toy or rope to stop boredom. I give dogs a good clean with dog shampoo. I'd check water temperature, not to hot or cold. I would use the shower head on the legs to start with to make sure dogs are happy and not get stressed.
