Pet Care in Wigston

| I've had pets all my life since I was little my dad had a live for dogs and cats. I look after my dad's pets whilst he's away and during the week why he's working. I love animals of all sizes. My son also has a bearded dragon. So nothing fazes me.

| I have been caring for family pets for 2 years, this includes caring while the owner works or is away and regularly visiting to feed the pets. I have also grown up with multiple dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits and exotic fish.

I want to help people who do not have time to take their pet for a walk, feed or have health problems and unfortunately are no longer able to take their pet for a walk or take care of it. I want to help both people and their pets. I currently work for the NHS, but would love to take a walking dog early in the mornings and on weekends or take care of one of your pets while you are busy.

| I have years of experience with many different species of animals. Some being my own pets, other people's pets and animals from my college days. I have worked with farm animals so I'm very familiar of the needs for different species. I gained a triple distinction in Animal Management which was a 2 year college course. I have experience working in veterinary practices so I am very aware of the signs to spot when an animal is unwell. Animals are my main love and focus in life and my goal is to eventually become a veterinary nurse. I have previous dog walking and dog sitting experience and my home is very suitable for overnight stays. I will treat your pet as I would my own. Animals are family after all.

| Hi! My name is Lorna and I am looking for some extra work as a dog sitter/walker. I have just spent two years living in Australia with family who have two beautiful dogs of their own but also foster dogs until they find a suitable home. I miss coming home to happy, excited fur babies and all the walkies we used to go on. I have experience in sitting whilst owners are away on holiday for friends and family, references are available on request.

| To start off I absolutely love every animal! We really don’t deserve how loving our pets are and how loyal they are sometimes. I have 3 Cats of my own and have many friends with Dogs that I adore! I have 2 10 year old cats and 2 year old so I am used to all ages of animals and love them at all stages of their life!

| Whiskers Wags and Walkies is my new venture which will be operating mainly in the Oadby / Wigston area. I am an animal enthusiast who grew up with dogs and as an adult have shared my home with 9 rescue cats, 3 of which are living with me currently. My plan is to spend my working day doing something I love and providing a valuable service to the community. I fully understand what a worry it can be to leave pets home alone for whatever reason and aim to help alleviate this by providing a professional, personal and friendly service. As a registered member of NARPS I have successfully completed their pet sitting and dog walking business course. I am fully insured and supported by the organisation. My service will include dog walking, pop in feeding, comfort visits and small scale home boarding.

| Hi Everyone! I'm Grace, I'm 21. I'm currently in my final year studying English at University of Leicester. I live in Wigston but I have a car to get around and I am happy to travel to where you are. I've been a long time animal lover. I grew up with rabbits but I also love dogs and cats and any other pets. I would like to have more experience with pet care. I would eventually like my own pets one day but I would love to spend more time around animals and understand each animals different needs in terms of care. I have spent a lot of time around my friends pets but I would love to spend more time with different pets. I have done lots of research surrounding animal care so I would like to apply the theory to the practical. I am only in Uni 2 days a week, I am free most mornings and evenings. I have seminars Monday 2pm-4pm and Tuesday 10am-2pm and the rest of the week I am free whenever. I also have my own car so I can travel in need of any emergency vet visits or anything else.
