Complete lover of all animals who has experience working with rescue dogs!
|
I've spent a number of months working with a dog rescue charity out in Georgia, USA (HeroDogRescue .org). During my time at the rescue, I have helped to foster a large number of dogs (with up to 15 in our house at any one time!) and have experience with energetic / "difficult" / elderly / unwell / disabled dogs and administering oral medication.
I miss working with dogs, but am unable to have my own dog or cat, due to having rabbits.
I absolutely adore all sorts of animals and have a whole lot of experience in handling rabbits and dogs (cats a little less), I believe I am capable of coping with all sorts of breeds (however I am a fairly small person, so if you have a large dog that can be particularly forceful, I might not be the best fit to take your pup for walkies). I own two rabbits and both live indoors with me, so pet-sitting dogs or cats at my home is sadly not an option, however I am more than willing to look after your hamster or guinea pig! Cats and dogs are fine to be looked after at your own home, or go for as long or short a walk as needed.
I have just graduated university so am looking for a bit of extra money while looking for work!
