My most recent job role: Up until I went on maternity leave I was working in a veterinary practice as a Animal Nursing Assistant / Receptionist, I absolutely loved the role but unfortunately I am unable to return as the role is no longer suitable with my personal life and commitments and I need more flexibility. Animal experience: As mentioned above I have worked in a veterinary practice for the past 2 years doing animal nursing assistant. During this role I was very hands over with all different kinds of animals of all sizes and breeds. I would assist the vet/nurse in consults and in operations. And of course in the aftercare. I am very confident and love to learn new things about any animal! I have also worked in a boarding kennels where I was looking after over 40+ dogs a day, including guard dogs and police dogs. This role was very rewarding, I loved being able to pamper other people’s dogs whilst they was on holiday or had work commitments. I would take pictures out on walks and a nice bath and treat once back from our adventures.
