My name is Sabrina Plazas, I am an 18 year old student at the University of Winchester, looking for a job involving animals.
I am very interested in working with animals of all shapes and sizes. I have previously worked in various Kennels in my home town (Oxfordshire) for about a year now and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I have also had some work experience in a cattery. On a regular basis I would feed the dogs, let them out for a play with the other dogs, play with them, clean the kennels and make up a kennel. I would also take dogs for walks regularly, made sure they took their medicine or ear drops if needed. I also visited dogs at their homes. This would include feeding them, taking them for a walk and making sure that they had enough water and food and would give them lots of cuddles and make sure that they were settled before leaving. I currently own a Saint Bernard called Bonnie, she is five years old and we have had her from a pup. So I am used too drool and slobber. I started off being afraid of aggressive dogs but after working with them, I am now confident enough to handle them.
