Pet Care in Fakenham

| I’ve recently completed my studies at Fakenham Academy College and so temporarily searching for a part time job. I have a passion for all animals so would be interested in any jobs which require pet care in and around the Fakenham area. I have experience with my own two dogs whom I look after alongside looking after my numerous siblings pets whenever they’re away. This has aided me with experience of less common pets such as a bearded dragon, stick insects, hedgehogs, fish and guinea pigs. When given instructions I am able and competent in carrying them out.

| I have approximately 10 years of experience in independently caring for cats. While living in Beijing, I regularly volunteered at a local stray dog rescue center, driving three hours each month to help clean the facilities and feed the animals. Over the years, I have personally rescued and cared for nearly 20 stray cats, providing them with baths, deworming, neutering, and finding them suitable adoptive homes. Currently, I live with two cats, and my family is equally passionate about both cats and dogs. Growing up, I was surrounded by pets, including a German Shepherd who was my constant companion throughout childhood. While my experience is more extensive with cats, as I wasn’t allowed to keep dogs in my Beijing residence, I frequently spent time at the animal rescue center to be around dogs. I am eager to further develop my experience in caring for dogs, as I find joy and fulfillment in learning and expanding my skills in animal care.

| Hi there! My name is Megan and I absolutely love animals, especially dogs but am always keen to learn more about different animals - I’m a fast and keen learner! I went to an animal based college and studied Animal Management (Veterinary Science Route) for 2 years where I learned so much about a variety of different animals; farm animals, alpacas, caring and walking dogs, and worked closely with small mammals and exotic ones too (including tarantulas and lizards which was pretty cool!). I did a year of work experience in a dog groomers and a summers worth of experience in a local Veterinary Clinic. I’ve studied at a University within London undertaking Biological Sciences. I have great experience with dogs as I have always had them myself - 3 wild spaniels who have taught me so much about specific dog needs and different (especially energetic) personalities and I would like to reflect my knowledge on those who need a dog sitter or walker and I can incorporate a bit of training too if needed.
