I've lived with and looked after dogs all my life including border collies, terriers, spaniels, german shepherds, labradors, a duck tolling retriever and now my dog Cola who we rescued from the dog meat trade in Korea. In the last year I have rebuilt colas confidence, socialised her with dogs and humans and trained her to a reasonable standard on and off lead with game based, positive reinforcement training methods. Cola and I live in Kendal with my long term Girlfriend who previously worked and trained for several years as a veterinary nurse. I have worked with several dog trainers in the past with my previous dogs and more recently I've spoken to and worked with trainers of working dogs and completed the STAS program produced by Absolute Dogs. I also have some experience of doing dog walking and dog sitting gigs though up to this point these have largely been on either a voluntary basis or incentivised jobs obtained through word of mouth rather than booked through an agency or website like care.
