| Hello! After working and volunteering with dogs in a dog day school since the tail end of 2021, I am looking to resume my journey of looking after people's pooches once again! In my job, I worked four/five days a week, averaging around 30 hours of work. My duties involved feeding, taking photos for the social media site, health checking the dogs, socialising dogs, teaching basic manners and commands (i.e. paw, sit, and work on recall), and I also did work on soothing separation. I worked in groups with 6-7 dogs most of the time, with the breeds including Springer Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Weimaraners, German Shepherds, Dalmatians, Siberian Huskies, Golden Retrievers, and plenty more! As such, I believe it is far to say that I have a diverse range of experience with an array of different dog breeds and a deep understanding of how needs for a pup both vary per breed and per individual dog. A lot of these dogs were either rescues or puppies, with the care for them always at the centre of my attention, an eye an ear kept on them at all times to ensure that they never got stressed or overwhelmed and, if they did, I always kept on top of helping them relax and calm.
