| Hi! My name is Gabriele. I have been dreaming about becoming a professional dog walker/trainer for a while now and recent move to Richmond area made me realise that the right time to fulfil my dream is now otherwise I will just keep delaying it. I have recently completed dog behaviour training course and will be starting 6month programme to become a certified dog trainer in the end of August. I am new to dog walking but I have 3 dogs of my own so walking multiple dogs is not a new thing for me. I have also had multiple consultations with other dog trainers, attended seminars and webinars and am trying to absorb as much dog related knowledge as I can. At the moment I am training my own youngest dog - a 20month old bull terrier Reggie. Having 3 dogs showed me how important it is that dogs are well behaved during the walks and don’t invade other people’s, dogs or livestock space. During walks with my own dogs I practice recall, coexisting, thresholds and also play a lot with my dogs so that at the end of the walk they’re tired both mentally and physically. I am responsible, I love long walks and exploring new places and I absolutely adore dogs so spending time with them outdoors sounds like a dream to me.
