Dog Trainers Winchester

| I have a pet cockapoo who is 5 years old. I love to take him on walks, play and get him to learn new tricks. I would love to use my knowledge and experience of my own dog to use on others. Making sure dogs are kept safe and having the best time is the main priority of mine.

| Hello, my name is Emily, I am 27 years old and have always grown up around dogs and animals, currently I have two border collies, a tri and a black and white, both who I have trained since they were a puppy as well as training and competing in agility. I have trained dogs from puppies as well as training and competing in agility. I have been trained since 2014 and have won in many competitions both in Kennel Club shows and independent shows. I was brought up around border collies, however have since trained, Border Collies, Collie Crosses, Terriers and Labradors and Springier Spaniel. I am a hard working person currently at university studying Criminology, I live in the city centre of Winchester, Hampshire and this would be a part time job for me. | I have lots of experience looking after pets. I used to walk my elderly neighbours dog for 6 years once a day. I also helped the owner to train her dog basic tricks as well as fix a few behavioural issues such as barking at cats. Furthermore, I have done dog sitting for a family friend, where I would stay at their house and look after their very energetic springer spaniel! The walks are typically an hour long, unless asked otherwise. I have lots of experience looking after cats. I myself used to have a cat which I adopted when he was 15years old, of whom I had to give tablets to. I also have experience with a looking after a diabetic cat who I used to have to inject with insulin and give tablets to. I have also looked after my neighbours kittens. Each visit is typically lasts an hour, where I feed the cat, play and keep the cat company.

During college I volunteered at my local Blue Cross, taking care of the dogs and cats which I loved. Since, then I have always wanted to have a job involving animals, as that is where my passion is. I have a cheeky 18 month old cocker spaniel, who has a repertoire of tricks and loves all the company he can get. | I have always been a huge advocate of pets. Growing up I cannot remember a time when we didn't have dogs and/or cats around our house. 5 years ago, when we got our second dog (Sophie), I took it on me to train and take care of her. I went to dog school with her for 3 years (from basic level to agility training) and learned how to create and maintain a healthy relationship with her, so that everybody receives the best treatment they can. A year ago another dog (Florance) joined our family and it provided a great insight into raising animals with another one already part of it. I was able to repeat everything that took 3 years with Sophie under 6 months just through teaching Florance how to mimic her more experienced friend. There were, naturally, times when daily business got in the way of spending time with them so we did everything in our power to try to lessen the time they spend alone. I find it really important to be there for our pets, not just to entertain their basic needs, and so they can do what they do best as well. Provide love to us.
