| currently I am interviewing for various dog training jobs over the next few weeks, I am keen to work flexible all week round looking after and training dogs Ranging from small to larger breeds. So far I have rescued two dogs, 1 cat and two degus. I rescued my cross breed dog boo 5 years ago. At first she wouldn’t leave the house, she was extremely aggressive towards other dogs and humans as she was so scared. | I was the pestering child begging my mum for a dog every second of every day, I even made a PowerPoint presentation. Safe to say I have an innate, enthusiastic love for dogs, always going out of my way to take care of my friends and families dogs while they’re away! My begging worked with my aunt, whose dog I housed over summer every year for 3 months, from the age of 16. I learnt to successfully potty train a puppy, efficient bathing and grooming skills, as well as the degree of care necessary when providing care for someone’s loved pet. My roles included feeding, walking, bathing, and of course cuddles and play time. Finally, I am a consistent, reliable and hard worker. How could I not come not time when the job is dog walking?

In my first year I undertook work experience on a private, working farm, working with all manner of animals. This year I will be undertaking work experience in a privately owned Kennels and Cattery (Country House Kennels and Cattery), looking after both cats and dogs in a caretaking role. I have had and been around dogs all my life since my mother is a dog breeder, I have helped with the birth and raising of so many litters of puppies I’ve lost count.
