I have had experience with larger breeds. Previously adopting a 45kg husky/labrador, who was extremely active and required a lot of training as he had been a street dog. My most recent rescue was a 14-year-old jack russell cross who was diagnosed with canine cognitive dysfunction, this was something I did a lot of research to manage the changes in his behaviour where he became more reactive and needed more support as his health and mobility digressed. I enjoy spending my time helping people local to me with dog walking and dog sitting whilst the owners are at work or on holiday. My experience has helped me learn to pick up on a dog's temperament quickly which means I can ensure the dog is happy and feeling safe enough to have the best time.
