Cat sitter and a cat lover in Perth PH1
| I am a registered social worker with SSSC and I have recently got a Disclosure check completed. I have nearly 20 years experience looking after my cats. I moved to Scotland from Hong Kong in 2004 and not long after, I adopted my first cat Bethany. In 2007, I adopted two long hair cats Joey and Zoe. All my three cats moved back to Hong Kong with me in 2013. Unfortunately Bethany passed away at aged 15 due to kidney failure; and poor Zoe got face cancer at aged 12 and passed away. I recently returned to Scotland with Joey who is now aged 16 and two other cats Sweetie and Beanie. I am a cat lover. Although I have not received any Veterinary training, I have some experience looking after kittens and Old cats. If you are looking for someone to visit your house to feed the cats, clean the litter trays whilst you are away on holiday, please feel free to contact me. I am currently being a full time mum looking after my girl, and hence I am looking for a wee part time job to get a bit of income. I charge £15 per 30 min visit for up to 2 cats.

FAQs for finding a cat sitter in Perth

In 2024, how much does a cat sitter cost in Perth?

Hiring a cat sitter in Perth through Care.com will cost an average of £10.00 per hour as of November 2024. This rate will vary depending on the level of care you need for your cat, the number of cats you have, and the total amount of hours or days your cat sitter will need to come to your home. Some cat sitters will charge a fixed rate per day if full-time care is requested.

How can I find a local cat sitter near me in Perth?

You can filter and sort local cat sitter profiles by distance from Perth. Compare your options by reading about their experience, the hourly rate they charge, and reviews from other cat parents. There are currently 470 cat sitters in Perth, although you can expand the radius of your search if you'd like to increase your options.

What questions should I ask a cat sitter in an interview?

The best cat sitters in Perth have a combination of experience and passion for cat care. Ask questions about the types of pets they have personally owned and how often they are currently cat sitting. Because cats behave differently than dogs, make sure to ask questions that are specific to cat behaviours and tendencies. It's also a good idea to give specific scenarios to the cat sitter you're speaking to so you can have a good idea of how they will treat your cat when they are in your home. Be sure to ask for references from other cat parents in Perth that have worked with the sitter of your preference.
