University student missing her fur-babies that would LOVE to meet new furry friends.
| Although I have no professional experience, I grew up in a house surrounded by cats. I absolutely adore looking after, playing with, and just being around cats, it is my favourite thing to do. As I am a student away from home it is difficult being away from my mini fur-babies (Minx, Bella, Blaze and Misty) so being able to visit homes and look after other cats is an opportunity I would not give up. When I lived at home, from a young age I always took looking after my cats very seriously, I was always the one to bathe them, groom them, feed them, play with them, clean their tray etc (at the dismay of my other siblings who would also love looking after them). I believe I have a natural bond with animals and am incredibly caring for them.

It's about my experience with my pet
| I used to feed a cat with my family with a syringe that didn't open its eyes and then the cat grew up and ran out and had a litter of kittens and most of them survived and then I gave them away. I have a cat and a dog at home now and sometimes I walk the dog by myself But I'm not trained to do simple dog walking or feeding and I don't have any experience bathing large dogs I've had seven or eight cats Hope to help people who need to travel far and fear that their pets will not be fed or bathed

Hello I’m Holly! I work at a cat cafe and have owned a cat for 12 years.
| Having owned a cat for 12 years, a very particular one at that, I am more than happy to take extra time with specific care. Previously dealing with many health problems with my cat, helping with weighing out foods or giving home medications for example is no problem at all. As well as this I will make sure to keep in good contact with yourself and make sure to assess your cats behaviour and pay good attention. Therefore I am immediately aware and able to discuss if I ever think they are not feeling or acting like their normal selves. I bring lots of love and fun to their time with me also, making sure they never feel lonely or bored. I have recently started working for a cat cafe and am looking for extra work during the week and at weekends. I can’t wait to meet your cat and to take the greatest care of them!

What questions should I ask a cat sitter in an interview?

The best cat sitters in Newcastle Upon Tyne have a combination of experience and passion for cat care. Ask questions about the types of pets they have personally owned and how often they are currently cat sitting. Because cats behave differently than dogs, make sure to ask questions that are specific to cat behaviours and tendencies. It's also a good idea to give specific scenarios to the cat sitter you're speaking to so you can have a good idea of how they will treat your cat when they are in your home. Be sure to ask for references from other cat parents in Newcastle Upon Tyne that have worked with the sitter of your preference.
