Reliable, caring cat loving sitter
| I own 2 cats myself, 1 who requires medication and extra care due to anxiety. I love cats and always get asked to help cat sit for friends and family so thought i’d offer my services professionally. I am happy to stay over at your house and can work from home to be around your fur baby all day if required. Happy to travel.

She's got several cat tattoos!
| Typical cat loving girl! I've grown up with pet cats so i feel a close affinity with the animals and understand their behaviour very well. Unfortunately, my current housing situation does not allow for pets so it would be amazing to help out so I can get some cuddles too (considering your kitty's sociability and temperament of course!) I regularly look after my friend's felines making sure to give them regular meal times, brushes and attention. Hopefully we can work something out and I look forward to meeting you :)

My name is Edina and I’m 25. I am pretty much a crazy cat lady and would love to help out!
| For most of my life I have had cats at home and love their company. I am really keen to start a career in Animal Care and have been to college to study Animal Management too. In 2019 I travelled abroad to Malta where I worked as a voluntary care assistant at a cat sanctuary. This sanctuary held over 300 cats and my main duties included cleaning mostly, feeding, socialising, grooming and I even had to the opportunity to administer medication when needed. I feel like having a side job caring for animals will help add to my experience whilst seeking full employment in Animal Care.

FAQs for finding a cat sitter in Huddersfield

In 2024, how much does a cat sitter cost in Huddersfield?

Hiring a cat sitter in Huddersfield through Care.com will cost an average of £10.00 per hour as of November 2024. This rate will vary depending on the level of care you need for your cat, the number of cats you have, and the total amount of hours or days your cat sitter will need to come to your home. Some cat sitters will charge a fixed rate per day if full-time care is requested.

How can I find a local cat sitter near me in Huddersfield?

You can filter and sort local cat sitter profiles by distance from Huddersfield. Compare your options by reading about their experience, the hourly rate they charge, and reviews from other cat parents. There are currently 3,969 cat sitters in Huddersfield, although you can expand the radius of your search if you'd like to increase your options.

What questions should I ask a cat sitter in an interview?

The best cat sitters in Huddersfield have a combination of experience and passion for cat care. Ask questions about the types of pets they have personally owned and how often they are currently cat sitting. Because cats behave differently than dogs, make sure to ask questions that are specific to cat behaviours and tendencies. It's also a good idea to give specific scenarios to the cat sitter you're speaking to so you can have a good idea of how they will treat your cat when they are in your home. Be sure to ask for references from other cat parents in Huddersfield that have worked with the sitter of your preference.
