Student cat-lover looking to help care for your feline friends - based in Brighton
| I'm a 22-year-old student studying Psychological Counselling and have a lot of flexible time to care for cats! I grew up with 4 amazing cats from a young age and have always found cats amazing company and easy to look after. I have an 8-month-year-old calico kitten called Toffee who is an absolute delight and has provided me with lots of experience from vet trips, de-fleeing, giving medication, harness training, feeding, occasional baths and lots and lots of playtime. I have also had experience on other cat-sitting sites where I have been given 5-star reviews. And experience looking after neighbors' cats. As well, I am a professional part-time nanny for young children so I have lots of responsibility and caring experience. This is my first time on this site, hence no reviews but message me and I can send a link to my reviews.

FAQs for finding a cat sitter in Hove

In 2024, how much does a cat sitter cost in Hove?

Hiring a cat sitter in Hove through Care.com will cost an average of £10.00 per hour as of December 2024. This rate will vary depending on the level of care you need for your cat, the number of cats you have, and the total amount of hours or days your cat sitter will need to come to your home. Some cat sitters will charge a fixed rate per day if full-time care is requested.

How can I find a local cat sitter near me in Hove?

You can filter and sort local cat sitter profiles by distance from Hove. Compare your options by reading about their experience, the hourly rate they charge, and reviews from other cat parents. There are currently 2,318 cat sitters in Hove, although you can expand the radius of your search if you'd like to increase your options.

What questions should I ask a cat sitter in an interview?

The best cat sitters in Hove have a combination of experience and passion for cat care. Ask questions about the types of pets they have personally owned and how often they are currently cat sitting. Because cats behave differently than dogs, make sure to ask questions that are specific to cat behaviours and tendencies. It's also a good idea to give specific scenarios to the cat sitter you're speaking to so you can have a good idea of how they will treat your cat when they are in your home. Be sure to ask for references from other cat parents in Hove that have worked with the sitter of your preference.
