Enthusiasm to give your pets the care, time and attention they need and deserve
| From a family who have had many cats over the years I have had experience with and greaty enjoyed looking after and caring for many cats of different temperaments and ages. From older slower cats who need some extra patience and care, to younger cats that thrive on activity and play. I have grown very accustomed to gauging a cats mood and how to best care for them, becoming easily friendly with any cats owned by family, friends or one i meet on the street.

Loving cat sitter
| Hi, I am a female in my late 20’s and I am looking to help out anyone who needs their cat or kitten looking after whilst away on trips/holidays or work etc. I have grown up around cats and seem to be a natural around them. I currently do not have my own pet due to living in a first floor flat and not having any outdoor space for them to roam around. This is more of a hobby and interests to me rather than a job, I would like to have the opportunity to care for a cat since I cannot commit to having another one of my own for a while. I only work part time so would have a lot of time during the week for them to be cared for. I have a 3 year old son who is also used to being around cats. Please get in touch if you would like to ask some more questions

In 2024, how much does a cat sitter cost in Hamilton?

Hiring a cat sitter in Hamilton through Care.com will cost an average of £10.00 per hour as of November 2024. This rate will vary depending on the level of care you need for your cat, the number of cats you have, and the total amount of hours or days your cat sitter will need to come to your home. Some cat sitters will charge a fixed rate per day if full-time care is requested.

How can I find a local cat sitter near me in Hamilton?

You can filter and sort local cat sitter profiles by distance from Hamilton. Compare your options by reading about their experience, the hourly rate they charge, and reviews from other cat parents. There are currently 2,386 cat sitters in Hamilton, although you can expand the radius of your search if you'd like to increase your options.

What questions should I ask a cat sitter in an interview?

The best cat sitters in Hamilton have a combination of experience and passion for cat care. Ask questions about the types of pets they have personally owned and how often they are currently cat sitting. Because cats behave differently than dogs, make sure to ask questions that are specific to cat behaviours and tendencies. It's also a good idea to give specific scenarios to the cat sitter you're speaking to so you can have a good idea of how they will treat your cat when they are in your home. Be sure to ask for references from other cat parents in Hamilton that have worked with the sitter of your preference.
