No job - or cat - too big or too small!
| I'm a 49-year-old native English speaker in Suffolk who has lived with/cared for cats all my life. I share my home with my wife, daughter and six furry friends - three of our own and three strays who have adopted us/taken over our living room and spare bedroom. My responsibilities include feeding, cleaning litter, giving flea and worm treatment (when required), buying food, taking them to the vet (I have my own transport) and giving lots of cuddles and attention (again, when required!). I guarantee to provide the same level of care for your cats as I would expect for mine.

Kind and caring Cat lover
| Had 2 cats for 21 yrs. Both have died now and I miss them and would love to help people who would rather not use a cattery. I am a widower and have a lot of weekends free and some days in the week. I dont mind travelling up to 20 miles and can stay overnight if necessary.

Some cat sitters will charge a fixed rate per day if full-time care is requested.

How can I find a local cat sitter near me in Bury St Edmunds?

Compare your options by reading about their experience, the hourly rate they charge, and reviews from other cat parents. There are currently 526 cat sitters in Bury St Edmunds, although you can expand the radius of your search if you'd like to increase your options.

What questions should I ask a cat sitter in an interview?

The best cat sitters in Bury St Edmunds have a combination of experience and passion for cat care. Ask questions about the types of pets they have personally owned and how often they are currently cat sitting. Because cats behave differently than dogs, make sure to ask questions that are specific to cat behaviours and tendencies. It's also a good idea to give specific scenarios to the cat sitter you're speaking to so you can have a good idea of how they will treat your cat when they are in your home. Be sure to ask for references from other cat parents in Bury St Edmunds that have worked with the sitter of your preference.
