Cat sitter with experience
| Hi, I'm Beka :) I absolutely adore cats, I have grown up with them all of my life and currently have 11 rescue cats (from ages 2 to 16 years) of my own so I'm very experienced when it comes to caring for them. I'm also experienced in caring for special needs cats and kittens as I have a cat with cerebellar hypoplasia myself. I understand how stressful it can be for cats to be away from their own home environment in a cattery so I feel that cats are better being cared for at home without disrupting any of their routines. I am more than happy to spend time playing with your cats whilst there or even sit and have a cuddle. I'm happy to feed, change litter trays and administer medication I believe that it is important to meet before hand to know that your cat/cats feel comfortable around me. Thanks Beka I would treat your cat as if he/she was my own. Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care from East Durham college - Houghall. Cat Sitter at Cat in a Flat

I am an experienced cat lover and will spend time showing them affection and playing with them.
| I have owned a cat for 4 years and I also looked after a friends elderly cat for a year while they were away on holiday and business which was quite a lot. I had to administer medication as the cat had quite a few ailments as it was 18 years old. I also look after my neighbours elderly cat while they go away on holiday.

What questions should I ask a cat sitter in an interview?

The best cat sitters in Bishop Auckland have a combination of experience and passion for cat care. Ask questions about the types of pets they have personally owned and how often they are currently cat sitting. Because cats behave differently than dogs, make sure to ask questions that are specific to cat behaviours and tendencies. It's also a good idea to give specific scenarios to the cat sitter you're speaking to so you can have a good idea of how they will treat your cat when they are in your home. Be sure to ask for references from other cat parents in Bishop Auckland that have worked with the sitter of your preference.
