1st year medical student at Bangor University and avid animal lover!
| Hi, I'm Luke! I'm a 1st year graduate entry medical student at Bangor University, although I'm originally from South Wales so I'm quite far out from home and missing my cats! I have 3 cats at home so I have lots of experience in looking after cats with all sorts of personalities and needs, and I enjoy spending time cuddling & playing with cats if they enjoy playing or cuddling, but know how to respect their space & boundaries too. As well as cats, I also love dogs and have some experience in looking after dogs informally. Until recently I also had a shih tzu at home who I would look after and take for walks in my area. I have also looked after my auntie's bichon frise, who was much more lively & bigger than my shih tzu! Unfortunately, as I am a medical student it is unlikely that I will be able to look after any pets in mornings and on some afternoons due to my university schedule, although I do occasionally have afternoons off or early finishes and would be available on any evening.

FAQs for finding a cat sitter in Bangor

In 2024, how much does a cat sitter cost in Bangor?

Hiring a cat sitter in Bangor through Care.com will cost an average of £10.00 per hour as of September 2024. This rate will vary depending on the level of care you need for your cat, the number of cats you have, and the total amount of hours or days your cat sitter will need to come to your home. Some cat sitters will charge a fixed rate per day if full-time care is requested.

How can I find a local cat sitter near me in Bangor?

You can filter and sort local cat sitter profiles by distance from Bangor. Compare your options by reading about their experience, the hourly rate they charge, and reviews from other cat parents. There are currently 248 cat sitters in Bangor, although you can expand the radius of your search if you'd like to increase your options.

What questions should I ask a cat sitter in an interview?

The best cat sitters in Bangor have a combination of experience and passion for cat care. Ask questions about the types of pets they have personally owned and how often they are currently cat sitting. Because cats behave differently than dogs, make sure to ask questions that are specific to cat behaviours and tendencies. It's also a good idea to give specific scenarios to the cat sitter you're speaking to so you can have a good idea of how they will treat your cat when they are in your home. Be sure to ask for references from other cat parents in Bangor that have worked with the sitter of your preference.
