I have worked with people with dementia and have the patience and compassion to support your family member with this difficult disease. I am experienced in all aspects of care from personal care medication and meal prep.

| I’m currently a full time mother but my children are all now at full time school so I’m hoping to find something to keep me busy throughout the day, I used to work with the elderly on a mental heath unit and absolutely loved it but unfortunately had to give it up due to having children, I’d love to help someone that needs that extra help whether it be in or out of their home, anything from getting them up and dressed, taking them shopping, cooking their meals etc. I’m here to help. senior carer

| My Nan was one of the most treasured people in my life! She was fortunate to have many Grandchildren to support her until she passed at the grand age of 97. She was also fortunate to have a carer pop in daily to support her with medication, meals and personal care when her family couldn't. I know it is vital for elderly people to try to keep their independence and socialise; and I would love to support them in doing so. Whilst I do not have a professional history in caring for the elderly I do have a personal one. Helping my Nan was something I loved doing. I work in a Special Needs School. I am caring, patient and have a sense of humour. I give energy in my work and I do a job properly; I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. I deliver Speech & Language interventions to pupils along with Physio and Occupational Therapy exercises. (I deliver these having been demonstrated and do not claim to be trained in the above therapies) Due to my day job in a school, my availability is limited to 2/3 evenings a week or Saturdays. During school holidays I have more Availability. I work in Southgate (North London) and live in Welwyn Garden City.
