Elderly Care in Cotswold

| I've worked with vulnerable adults and children for the last 8 years and have found this very rewarding. I have recently started studying BA (Honours) Health and Social Care and in studying this in have realised that I have a huge passion working with in care. I have been told that I am a very caring person and I strongly believe in person centred care. I believe I try to implement this in my work each time I’m working closely with someone or their family members. I feel I thrive well under pressure and enjoy having good puzzle to figure out at work. I have been awarded within working in care for client transformation, this was due to working very closely with someone to bring them out of their shell and to bring them back into the community after spending years in his home and not going out. I feel very proud that I manged to help this person reach his goals at his own pace and ####.#### gave me the drive to undertake extra learning to dementia care and how I could best support others. Since gaining my dementia community link worker award I have worked closely with clients to create care and support plans that suit them and their needs.
