| I am a dedicated and experienced individual with a passion for providing exceptional care and support to elderly clients and clients that need further care. With 18 months of professional experience as a home carer and a lifetime of experience in caring for both the elderly and raising my own children, I am confident in my abilities to make a positive impact on the lives of those I care for. As a person with a friendly and positive outlook, I understand the importance of being a calming presence in difficult situations, particularly when caring for individuals who may be experiencing dementia and anxiety-related conditions. My patient, observant, and sensitive nature allows me to form meaningful connections with clients and their families, ensuring they receive the compassionate care they deserve. My expertise includes personal care, companionship, meal planning, shopping, and general household duties. I have a clean driver's license, relevant driving insurance, DBS check, and personal liability insurance. | I am a naturally compassionate individual and have had just over a year of experience supporting adults with learning disabilities. I have also worked in a care home for the elderly as a housekeeper, I feel it is right for me to work in a more personal setting as I am passionate about supporting individuals to stay as independent as possible. I have a lovely female jack Russel terrier called Birdy and it would be ideal for me to find someone who is not only seeking my companionship and support but also loves animals and would be comfortable with me bringing her to work with me.
