I have worked 18 years ago as a carer in Australia. I used to care for elderly people in their own homes, assisting with showering, dressing, personal care, preparing light meals and taking them shopping. I enjoy the company of elderly people and like to be someone they can trust and depend on to have their best interest in mind. I am very respectful and a very respectable person who has enjoyed the company of my own grandparents well into their 90s. I know how important it is that people have good reliable care. In my 20s, I worked as an SEN primarily in a geriatric centre attached to a public hospital. This I did for nearly 10 years and enjoyed my work very much.
