Elderly Care in Caradon

| I am a 24 year old female with over 5 years experience in care work. I currently work as a community support worker but am looking to expand my career and earn some extra money. I am very passionate about my job and have a great attitude towards my job. I have experience in patients with dementia, stroke rehabilitation, drug/alcohol misuse, elderly, physical disabilities, mental health illness and many more.

| I have 4 years worth of experience. I have worked with residential and nursing within a care home however I also have experience working in the community caring for people. Furthermore I also have 2 years worth of experience working as a 1-1 with people who are end of life and dementia care. I am available for both days and nights as I have worked these prior.

| I now live in Newquay. I have much experience and love working with elderly people and individuals who have a learning disability. I come from a psychiatric nursing background, therefore also have experience of working with people with mental health difficulties and dementia. I am a kind and caring person, who passionately believes in person centred care. I feel people have enough taken away from them when faced with a disability and age related difficulties. | Hello, I now live in Newquay, though cannot find a way to change this! I absolutely love helping people live their best life, it's what I'm passionate about. I realise illness, physical disabilities and age can take away much control and independence in someone's life. It's essential for individuals wellbeing to still find ways to enjoy their day, whether that's baking, cooking, being in the garden, going for a ride out, a walk, shopping, visiting friends and family. I work in a very person centred way, ensuring your loved one does whatever they wish. I worked for almost 20 years as a psychiatric nurse, however left this profession in my 40's. I have worked in various care settings since, though find most do not provide the excellent, individual, kind, caring, professional care you would wish for your loved ones. I have much experience and very much enjoy working with people who are elderly and those who have dementia. I also feel it is a privilege and pleasure to support people who have learning disabilities and autism to live a life they love.
