Hello! I have had a passion for geriatrics since I was a little girl. Through high school and college, I volunteered at senior nursing facilities providing companionship and respite care. I have a BS degree in Health Care Administration. After working a few years post college at a children's hospital in the NICU, I realized that I had to get back into geriatric care. I moved to the metro Detroit area and took a position in the activities and lifestyle department at a senior living facility and was soon promoted to the Lifestyle Director position. In this position, I was in charge of all of the facilities activities, including - crafts, exercise, cognitive learning, parties, etc. I love seniors so much and I am currently pursuing a degree in nursing to become a hospice nurse one day. I would love the opportunity to care for your loved one. I also have a trained therapy dog, who is an English Cream Golden Retriever."
