Elderly Care in Croydon

| Due to previous experiences of working with range of people in the care sector I believe that throughout my time on various work placements with people who have disabilities and difficulties in communicating, along with the experiences gained throughout my studies, my wish to pursue a career in the care profession has grown To further my interest in working with and around people I completed a course in health and social care and have had level 2 on that ,I also completed the care certificate too. Throughout this course I was able to gain valuable experience of working with special needs adult and children. While this was very challenging I also found it an extremely rewarding and enjoyable experience.

| I am 29yo, I have a 7 year old son and I’m currently studying social and community studies at university. I have been providing care for my elderly grandmother, along with my mother, providing general care within her day to day tasks I.e in and out of the bath,getting washed and dressed as groomed, preparing breakfast, lunch’s,dinners, shop errands and been doing so for the past 10 years

| Vast experience in dementia, end of life care, Parkinson's, cancer, diabetes care, stoma bags care, personal care, catheter care and all adult age life expectancy chronic conditions and illnesses in various settings such as domicilliary care, Community independent living based care, hospital care, as well as residential and nursing home care.
