Elderly Care in Vale of White Horse

| I have been doing live in care for 3 months I am looking to work more in the Oxfordshire area.

| My name is Sarah, I live in Faringdon. I have a wide and varied experience of providing care in a home setting, as well as having spent a few months working in a nursing home. I am experienced in all the usual tasks such as personal care, meal prep and medication administration as well as some of the more specialist tasks such as putting on surgical stockings and peg feeding etc. Previous clients I have looked after have had conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s, MS, motor neurone disease, as well as the usual age related conditions. I have done rehabilitation care and end of life care. I love my job as it provides variety every day, no two days are the same and there is such job satisfaction knowing that you have made someone’s life a little better/easier just by even the simplest of things you’ve done for them. Whether that’s providing them with personal care or a cup of tea and a chat. I enjoy reading, horse riding and gardening as well as a variety of other things.
