Elderly Care in Emsworth

| I have many years experience, knowledge and skills, such as nursing, palliative, caring, organisational, domestic, and home cooking . I I studied degree level in Health &Social care. I am very hands on, am friendly and compassionate, reliable, trustworthy and work around a person centred care framework. I have been working in the community now for 15 years as an independent care worker and previous to that was a care manager in a residential care home. I have been a private housekeeper and a nanny too during my career. References available

| I worked in a care home for 2 years in Emsworth and I absolutely love caring. There is nothing i would rather do with my time then to care or be a companion for someone. I love the diversity of each person and I have such strong beliefs that vulnerable people such as elderly, should have their own independence. In my previous job I would get to know each individual and find little details that would make their day. For example a male I cared for loved playing droughts so I brought it in and played it with him and it changed his day! I am bright and bubbly and so compassionate and passionate about what I do. The individual I care for will be left smiling every time I leave, I will be sure of that. I am trustworthy and reliable. I understand what it means to have someone else caring for your loved one and I will be everything I would expect from someone caring for my family.

| I am a highly reliable and experienced carer, who is NVQ 2 and 3 qualified. I am a qualified freelance apprenticeship assessor and QA in Health and Social care. I was a trustee of the Orchard Dementia Centre in Chertsey I helped form the charity to keep the centre open. This involved writing and implementing all of the policies and procedures. I have over 20 years of experience in working in care including mental health, physical and learning difficulties and care of the elderly including dementia. I have held senior care work positions and come with a wealth of knowledge. I am currently a Trustee of Southbourne Age Concern.
