| Hello my name is Nicola , i have over 25 years experience working in care from children and adults with complex needs to elderly with dementia im currently a senior carer in a nursing home , my day to night roles include all personal care needs , assisting with meals , medication , repostioning and pallative care

I worked for 6 months as a Caregiver in the community for a company. I have been self employed for 5 years & currently have 9 clients. I spent 8 years as a Health Care Assistant at St Crispins hospital. I have experience in working with clients suffering from Dementia, Blindness, Parkinson's, Stroke and Learning Disabilities. Care that I am able to provide includes:- Personal Care (washing, dressing, toileting/continence aids/catheter care etc); companionship; meal prep; medication assistance; housework; laundry; dog walking; taking clients to appointments/shopping/outings. I hold a current Enhanced DBS, am trained in Basic Life Support, First Aid & Manual Handling. | I worked for a company a few years ago looking after people. From children to elderly care with dementia or strokes. I would prompt medication if needed and would help with bathing or taking them shopping or go shopping for the client. I would help to dress or undress while I looked after there needs. I would cook and clean for any client. I’m currently a full time career for my elderly mother but looking to do some extra work during the day for calls or shopping or just companionship.

| Hello, I’m Arta and very pleased to meet you! I have over 15 years of experience in care, I have worked with elderly people with Alzheimer's and Dementia. Also, I have a great deal of experience in working with adults with special needs such as autism, learning disabilities, brain injury and end-of-life care. As carer, in addition to the everyday hygiene and other practical needs of my client, I provide emotional support. I believe that caring involves excellent communication skills and that emotional support is just as vital as practical. I have on many occasions used my knowledge of various conditions to assist families with their understanding of these conditions and how best to help their family member. | We offer a respite service for carers of people living with dementia and Alzheimer's, which is available during the day and night. We provide a range of personal care services such as medication, meal preparation, cleaning, shopping, escorting to appointments and very importantly provide companionship to those who live alone. We are both trained in manual handling, medication, health & safety, first aid, infection control, peg-feeding, tracheostomy which includes nebuliser and oxygen training.
