| I've worked with vulnerable adults and children for the last 8 years and have found this very rewarding. I have recently started studying BA (Honours) Health and Social Care and in studying this in have realised that I have a huge passion working with in care. I have been told that I am a very caring person and I strongly believe in person centred care. I believe I try to implement this in my work each time I’m working closely with someone or their family members. I feel I thrive well under pressure and enjoy having good puzzle to figure out at work. I have been awarded within working in care for client transformation, this was due to working very closely with someone to bring them out of their shell and to bring them back into the community after spending years in his home and not going out. I feel very proud that I manged to help this person reach his goals at his own pace and ####.#### gave me the drive to undertake extra learning to dementia care and how I could best support others. Since gaining my dementia community link worker award I have worked closely with clients to create care and support plans that suit them and their needs.

| A brief intro… I am an experienced carer, having done my training with Christie’s, equipped & trained to a very high std so that we would be confident caring for our Clients. I have a sunny outlook & positive attitude. Care experience with Live In for a double amputatee, insulin dependant single gentleman in London, an 87 yr old single lady in Scotland who suffers with Macula degeneration & very dependant on me for her safety & care. I cared for a 102 yr gentleman in Rayleigh, a well known resident, who also has a Lane named after him. This past yr I have been 1 of 5 carers for a family in Gloucestershire caring for a 76 yr lady with MND & frontotemporal dementia. She is fed via a PEG & hoisted daily. Our whole care routine is one of ensuring the client is kept comfortable & maintaining a high std of care for her. With all of my clients, there has been 24/7 care. Exp: Personal care, nutritional supplements, administering of prescribed medicines, insulin, light housework, meal prep, handling & hoisting, liaising with Drs, District nurses, various suppliers & domiciliary carers. I thoroughly enjoy being able to assist & pride myself in being responsible, reliable, dependable, trustworthy, honest & someone who enjoys this Calling.

| I am 26 years old. I have worked in several Care homes and privately as a carer. I have experience with dementia of varying levels and experience with personal care , including catheters etc. I am a very patient person with a kind nature and good sense of humour.

| I've just moved back to England after living in the USA for the past 20 year's where I worked as a nurse i specialized in elderly care and dementia and end of life care I've worked in nursing homes and also private care I'm very compassionate about my work and always treat people with the utmost dignity and respect and take pride in everything I do.living in Calne Wiltshire. I would consider a live in position but I do have a very well behaved miniature schnauzer who would have to part of the package.

| Hi! I have 20 years experience within residential and domiciliary care, supporting both elderly with dementia and disabled children. For 9 months I supported an elderly friend with companionship after the lose of her husband. Shopping assisting around the house and with mobility. At present I work part time transporting special needs children to school.

| I have experience in elderly care working in a nursing home providing care both to individuals with nursing needs and those with dementia. This involved working as part of a team and the ability to work confidently on own. Supporting people with personal care has been a very enjoyable part of providing individual care. I also have experience in mental health and more recently I supporting individuals with learning difficulties. This has involved 1-1 support with a lady who has limited mobility and learning and behavioural difficulties.. Providing assistance with eating and maintaining fluids via peg tube and personal care.
