Hello, I’m Rachel & following 20 years of working in the NHS for South Western Ambulance Service in various operational & support roles, I made the transition to care in early 2020. I found this transition seamless and feel like I have found something that I can not only call a career, but also a passion. I’m extremely conscientious and take pride in my role. My aim is to always provide a service that exceeds the expectations of my client and their families and is driven by underlying values of compassion, empathy and kindness. In my previous job, I was nominated for Caregiver of the year due to the consistent high standards that I set and was commended by management for my ability to forge meaningful relationships with clients and their families.
I can provide tailored care to clients with a wide variety of requirements, from companionship to home help and assistance with day-to-day tasks.
I posses an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care, Health Education England Care Certificate and have completed the City and Guilds accredited Dementia Training Programme. I also have up-to-date Emergency Life Support training, as well as a whole host of other qualifications obtained through my previous work in the NHS.
