I gave up my beauty business and we moved in to care for my mother in law after a hospital stay for a urine infection and because of her dementia she not only became bedridden but she became almost completely non verbal, double incontinent and could no longer take care of herself. I took responsibility of her health, cleanliness, medication and eating habits as she lost these abilities and her elderly husband was struggling by himself and was considering a care home. We eventually got a care package in place but i continued to help them and also the district nurses to attend to her bed sores. This continued until she passed away.
