Elderly Care in Bushey

| I have nine years experience in elderly care, working in my first care home at the age of sixteen. I have qualifications in health and social care, level 3,4 and 5. I drive, I’m flexible and I have a passion for helping and supporting people in their own homes. English speaking. Majority of my experience is with clients who have dementia. There’s not much I won’t do for someone I care for- I am always happy to help! I can do anything from personal care to cleaning, ironing and even mind stimulation games (which my past elderly clients have taught me). I currently working 9-5 flexible hours Monday to Friday. I am looking for extra evening work/early morning work. I’m sociable, caring and my strive in life is to help people and help keep them safe in their own home. Able to provide references from my previous clients family’s. I understand the pressures family go through and I would like to take that away from them/help as much as possible.

| I did a community care course when I left school. I looked after both my parents when they were not well. I have a nvq in childcare level 3. I have been a carer since 2011 and had my own clients. I worked as a support worker in a rehab and I also cooked in the kitchen. I’m currently working as a care assistant for a home care company. But I want to reduce my hours and only work five days not weekends. I have a lot of experience in care and have a level 3 in childcare and level 2 counselling skills.

| I look after elderly people, i have experience looking after elderly people who has Multiple sclerosis for 4 years. The one I looked after has multiple sclerosis for 30 years. I am 52 years old, and a single mum. My daughter lives with me. I still live in my employer’s house.

I can provide you with gentle non medical care and companionship to help promote your well-being,dignity and safety, i Am an experienced carer I have undertaken courses for example health and safety food hygiene manual handling safeguarding Alzheimer’s awareness and a care certificated course I have public liability insurance full clean UK driving licence with relevant insurances and an enhanced DBS I’m passionate about nutrition and the benefits of a healthy varied diet. I am also a gourmet cook with a good understanding of many dietary requirements .
