I love maths! I have been a private maths tutor for over 5 years, ranging from preparation for Y6 SATS to Y11 GCSE. I am in my 5th year of teaching Mathematics at secondary level. I have worked in both London and Birmingham. I have a BA degree in Psychology and Sociology; PGCE in Secondary Mathematics and a Masters in Education, all of which have afforded me new and engaging ways to teach Mathematics.   As I teacher I am constantly developing professionally and have previously attended conferences on Mathematics Mastery and Oracy. My love of maths translates in the classroom and I inspire students to develop a love of maths through my enthusiasm of the subject.  I use visual aids, scaffolding and differentiated tasks to support students learning.
