I have been offering tutoring services to friends and family’s children for a year for a range of subjects including maths, history, french and English however I can also teach general study skills. I have always received excellent feedback from my lessons as I make sure that the student is fully engaged so that they get the most out of their learning. As well as having the academic proficiency in these subjects (4 A* at A Level) I also have a natural ability to explain concepts in simple terms or from different angles which is key when teaching children. I also spent 2 years working once a week at an infant school where I helped children who were having difficulty progressing with their reading. I am pleased to be able to say that I had a lot of success with the children, not only did their reading vastly improve, so did their general confidence. I am also open to doing childcare (though in order to adhere to lockdown restrictions this would only be for one family) where I can offer homework help or simply keep the kids out of your hair and off the screen with some creative activities!
