Hi there, I’m Sophie and I am currently doing my Master’s in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Leeds. I would make a great tutor for your child because: 1) I can approach maths and science concepts from many directions to adapt the lesson to suit the child. 2) I have previous experience in online maths tutoring of secondary school students, and have really enjoyed helping my younger sister with her homework while growing up. 3) I encourage questions and am patient. 4) I am organised and reliable demonstrated by my role as the main organiser of school outreach workshops for Airbus during my placement year. 5) It hasn’t been too long since I completed my GCSEs and A-Levels so my experience and the ways I prepared to get great marks are fresh in my mind.
