A sample processing officer in a pathology laboratory and Biomedical Science graduate. I undertook placement as a laboratory technician, problem solving, planning and performing several experiments. My experiences equipped me with excellent staff training (one-to-one discussions improving work quality), research skills and creativity with my learning to achieve my goals. Previously helped 5 university students with revision and proofread and edited assignments to achieve their desired grades. All passed and achieved higher than expected (2:1 and 1st). This improved their self-esteem and confidence in believing in their capabilities of being and achieving more, an important self-quality. My aim with sessions is to make learning enjoyable and easier to understand while preparing for exams. I help students connect with topics making them exciting, therefore they feel more optimistic about tackling work and achieving higher grades, by: Identifying learning material, and tutee knowledge in topic they are struggling with and what they want to achieve; planning sessions using tools tailored to their learning style; frequently practicing questions, marked and feedback; using progress reports. Proofreading & editing also offered.
