I have been a tutoring assistant at a local kumon for 2 years where I taught English and maths for children ranging from ages 5-17. As for 1 on 1 tutoring I have had several student for mostly GCSE maths and in total I have had around 80 hours of tutoring. I believe a successful tutor Is one that can not only teach the content to the student but be a friend to reinforce confidence in them!
