I am a qualified Teach First English Academic Mentor with over 1200 hours of tutoring experience across KS3 and KS4 (including GCSE preparation). I am a friendly, patient, and creative tutor who enjoys finding new ways to help students engage with and gain confidence in the subject. I am passionate about English and about making the subject accessible to students who find it challenging. I have worked with students of varying abilities and needs, including students with special education needs (Dyslexia, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and visual impairment), as well as students who have high attainment but can be pushed further. I enjoy tutoring and working with students to develop an understanding, enjoyment, and confidence in English which they can then take with them into the classroom or exam hall.
