Hello! My name is Rob and i'm a Psychology and Counselling graduate who graduated with a 1st class degree. I'm friendly and approachable and love teaching and supporting student to achieve the best they can be. My Counselling background helps me in providing a safe and comfortable space for a wide array of students. In university i was a mentor to students for my entire 4 years of University, representing them, helping them with study plans and providing information on what support was available. A key part of anyone's learning is self belief, belief that they can achieve and that they are capable of doing what they set out to do. I enjoy fostering a students self belief and helping put their abilities into practice. I also attended University as a mature student so I am fully aware of the issues surrounding going to university later in life. I also worked for a University in the admissions team and administrative team so I have extensive knowledge on what Universities look for in a student and the processes that applications go through. I can help with personal statements and help give people the best possible chance with their university application. I have also invigilated for exams.
