About me: I'm a mezzo soprano based in London with an extensive teaching and performance career. After graduating from Leeds College of Music in 2016 with a first class honours undergraduate degree, I am continuing my own learning with Julie, (formerly RAM). I teach across London both privately and in schools, where I also run workshops in musicianship and performance. I studied cello for three years with esteemed cellist Alfia and play regularly with orchestras. Singing: I teach all levels and ages of singers. A typical lesson will include: - Having fun with singing! - Learning of songs - Technical exercises in warm ups, breathing exercises and muscle and relaxation exercises - Performance techniques - Guidance and advice based on building confidence Graded exams if appropriate Music Theory Cello I focus on beginner and intermediate cellists, with lots of focus on: - Cello 101: the basics of cello playing - Technique: fun exercises to aid the performance of pieces - Playing some fun and interesting pieces to challenge and improve your playing ability - Musical expression - Rhythm exercises Graded exams if appropriate Music Theory I look forward to meeting you!
