For the last year and a half, I have been tutoring a year nine student in mathematics. During this period, she has improved in maths and has been recommended to move up a set in maths at her school. I am, therefore, experienced in helping with homework and presenting ideas educationally and engagingly. I was the first year to use the 9-1 curriculum, for all subjects, and therefore have first-hand experience of the new curriculum and the linear exam system. This helps me direct and encourage students now going through the process. This year, I was also offered the incredible opportunity to travel to Ghana to teach at a primary school, in New Tema. The school gave me experience in handling large groups of children and ensuring they were engaged and learning. My GCSE results were: o English Literature 9 o English Language 9 o Maths 7 o Physic 8 o Biology 8 o Chemistry 8 o RE 9 o History 9 o Drama 8 o Statistics A I am/was taking Mathematics, English Literature and History for A-levels, with predicted grades of A, A*, A* respectively. I am going on to study history at Exeter University in September 2020.
